Play"School"

We are about to start a playschool cooperative with our friends in a couple of weeks. The mommies have been doing lots of meetings, talking about play and a workshop. It has made me look at her play in a more concentrated way. Our workshop was about using recycled materials to promote open ended play. Posey has been creating the most interesting playscapes/ games with parts of other toys and household things.

This was her setting up a "party", then she started charging money for some things to eat.

Then I found horsie getting his dinner in the mop bucket. I have no idea who put this together.

This picture doesn't truly capture what was going on. She had two sticks from the basket, "mommie and daddie" and she had them involved in conversation, then in an upside down finger puppet "boat". She then put a cardboard with circle cutouts on top of the basket and had the boat jump in and swim out.

Christmas- in case any of those that ask are reading this....
dress up- no more dresses we need nurse, dr, scientist, chef, fireman, pilot etc
It could be recycled or scrounged.

balance bike or tricycle
any craft stuff or supplies for a miss posey
