Well, I have been working on my observation and documentation skills for our Playschool Coop. Through a book club centered around learning and
Reggio Emilia i have learned lots and want to practice my mini story (documentation style) on you. And also because Papa requested a picture of the two of them together.... i didn't use duct tape, but maybe i should have. I think most mini stories are supposed to be about children's learning, but i was so entertained and i think the pictures tell a story.

Me: can you sit together so i can take your picture for Papa. They sit but then immediately start playing with there feet in the rocks.

Waylon still playing in the rocks, and Posey attempting a smile.

Me: Waylon say cheese. Waylon looks up but Posey rediscovers the rocks.

Posey says: say marshmallow. Waylon immediately looks over to the fire pit and yells fire. Then tries to jump up and run over there in case someone has decided to roast marshmallows in the afternoon.

They both run around for a few minutes, then i coax them back to the table, saying Papa wants a picture. They both smile kinda.

Waylon discovers a chive that he picked earlier and starts chewing on it.

Oh i just saw a bird fly by.

Still has a chive in his mouth. i am in full giggles by this point and they both leap up and want to "see" the pictures they have taken. This seems to focus them and they run back to the table to pose.

Posey is in full show from, but Waylon has re-rediscovered the rocks.

Waylon finds a bell in his pocket and turns around shows posey.

He jumps up and dances around in a circle a few times in response to Posey shaking the bell.

This picture was taken as i was engaging them in conversation about playing with papa.
Finally a picture. Maybe.

That is the best! I can not wait to do some for school. Was it hard to remember what happened for each picture?
