The Polar Express was not an option this year, so on Sunday, we took a train ride to Santa Fe. We played at the park, ate some good food (at a place with a playground), and studied some history at the History Museum. We took one of Posey's friends with us and we all had a great time. People are always amazed to see large families these days. It was fun having an extra one.
My dad was curious about the Rail Runner train. For others that are interested, the beautiful cars are built by Bombardier and the engines by Motive Power (see Wikipedia).
Here are the kids playing at the Cowgirl Cafe. The Cowgirl Cafe is always a good choice. They had great live music that day as well.
There was a cowboy exhibit at the history museum.
We took a lot of cold weather gear with us. After walking around all morning in 30-ish degree weather, most places we went into were just too hot. We piled the extra clothes onto the stroller. Waylon took a cat nap under this particular pile.
Cline enjoyed the dress up and toy horses as well.
